The dreadful cancer is a disease which everyone prays that even an enemy should not face.
It is a myth that cancer develops suddenly in a body. The truth is that cancer cells are always present in every human body, its just that cancer is detected only when the number of these cells increases to some crore in number. Before that its difficult to detect the cancer cells in any health check-up report. When cancer cells multiply by 6 to 10 times, human body’s immune system, if strong enough can defeat the cancer cells with ease. However, if the immune system is weak then it becomes difficult to fight the disease.
When detected with cancer, you are faced with no other option but to undergo a treatment that exposes your body to harmful radiations called chemotherapy. Chemotherapy has toxic effect on the fast multiplying cancer cells, however it also adversely affects the healthy cells in the bone marrow, liver, intestine, kidney, lungs and heart. In short, chemotherapy is harmful for almost all your vital organs.
Lets try to understand food that helps cancer cells grow faster. Sugar is a friend of your deadly foe called cancer. Stopping sugar intake will curb the growth of cancer cells. However, you will have to completely stop sugar intake including sugar supplements like aspartame. Milk should also be completely stopped for cancer-affected because it increases mucus. This mucus is pasture for cancer cells. However unlike sugar, milk can be replaced with soymilk.
Meena Seth a patient detected with breast cancer was operated upon on 14th December, 2008. This was to be followed by chemotherapy. However her deep faith in alternative treatments like Ayurveda and natural treatments brought her to our centre. Dr Deepika Patel suggested that alongwith chemotherapy I start with eating a mixture of crushed black dates, black grapes and figs, previously soaked in warm water. Also she suggested I have tender coconut water with honey to fasten healing the wound caused by surgery after cancer. Dr Patel advised me to avoid left overs and to eat only simple, fresh home-cooked food.
After the first round of chemotherapy she did not take enough rest, hence later had to undergo a lot of hardship. She had fever and had to take injections too. In the following session, she experienced hair loss too. After the third session, she was absolutely free of radiation therapy. All this thanks to the naturopathy healing that was being undertaken parallely. Ms seth says, “I am very healthy and positive now. Even my family that includes my husband and daughter alongwith some friends have visited become used to naturopathy and take treatments regularly. I am in a way indebted to nature for healing me completely. I will advise everyone to adopt this treatment for its uniqueness and strengths without any side-effects. ”
Living around 10,000 miles away, when Ms Uma Thaker, a resident of Connecticut, USA read the article by Ms Seth, she was inspired to give naturopathy a chance in her struggle against breast cancer. She underwent surgery in 2005. Unlike Ms Seth, Ms Thaker’s ordeal of radiation therapy had not ended with few sessions. She had to undergo seven weeks or radiation. However, even after this painful experience, she was told that she would need more chemotherapy, when detected with a rebounding effect of cancer in 2010. Her heart and mind were just not ready to accept any more pains. She sent an email to Dr Mukesh Patel along with all her reports, who advised her to first start fasting for 40 to 50 days. All her near and dear ones were against her decision, however her husband was convinced after a conversation on the telephone with Dr Patel. She was experiencing astonishing results of her fast. After 14 days of fasting she was asked to stop her hypertension tablets which she had been taking for quite a few years. Instead of experiencing weakness, she was surprised to feel very energetic and capable of doing a lot more household chores than expected. At the end of 45 days, she lost 15 pounds (approx 7 kgs). It was at last in February 2011, that all her ultrasound reports were normal. Ms Thaker “I have put my faith in nature and its effects on our body. I have defeated the monstrous breast cancer today and will continue to fight for my life using naturopathy rather than any other source of medicine.”
