Patients having depression should do walking exercise everyday for 45 to 60 minutes. As we don’t see time for meal or snacks, there is no need to see time for walking also. However, if you want to walk regularly you can walk one hour after taking meal in the morning or night. Mind comes to alpha level by walking, which reduces stress. Patients having depression have to be very careful while taking meal. Do not cure depression by taking pleasure with meal. It is very necessary for us to be conscious while running a car or two-wheeler and at the time of meal. In depression we don’t feel hungry but our sub-conscious mind immerses us in eating food to spend time, to avoid stress. That is why the weight of people in stress increases rapidly. Now when it comes to dieting for weight loss, it reduces the amount of vitamins and minerals in the body, which causes permanent damage to the body. So, we have to stay awake every day. To reduce stress, take deep breath and exhale according to your age while sleeping at night. By doing this, our half-awake and unconscious mind will remain relaxed while sleeping at night which means our mind will remain at alpha level or above even during sleep. Altogether will be very relaxed after waking up in the morning, the start of the day will be very good. After waking up in the morning, always keep a rule. Instead of watching news in the morning, you should only read one page of the booklet that will charge the brain. The effect of this will give more freshness than tea-coffee throughout the day. There is an another psychological research has happened that if we read positive things for 20 minutes, to think for our goal after walking up in the morning then day goes very well, Mental strength increases and the target is rapidly achievable. Ayurveda can also help us in this. Mind remains mild, if 2-2 tablets of plain brahmavati will be taken with water two times after meal. If meal will be taken on time by 8:30 pm at night, if two to three spoons of isabgol will be taken with milk then it makes mind calm because our stomach gets lighter. Still, after mixing 7 to 9 drops of almond oil in this milk if we drink this, will get energy after walking up in the morning and weakness will go away. Depression can be quickly overcome by reducing our needs, avoiding competition with others, walking on the path of truth, and it is good that god can allow us to use what we have. The sum of body, mind and spirit is what we are. Do not live without mind but do not live with stressed mind also. The mind’s place is in the heart and mind knows everything. We should stop cheating ourselves, rather than clashing in the past and instead of filling in future fictional fears, we should stay in the present and experience the joy.
