In India, generally at the time of Makarsankranti(Uttarayana or kite festival) people eat sweets made up from sesame, ground nuts, jaggery and oil named sesame chikki and peanut chikki. Our brain regularly requires sugar and heart requires fat. Their are uncountable neurons in our brain. Neurons regularly require sugar for their functions. And heart regularly requires fat for it’s function. Traditional Indian sweets like chikki, magas, laddu, mohanthal, halwa, sukhdi etc. helps neurons to keep myelin sheath in good condition. When we eat such types of sweets, it helps to our neurons, our brain and reduces depression. Chikki, ladu, sukhdi and other traditional Indian sweets are made up from ghee(purified butter), jaggery, til(sesame), peanut, wheat flour etc. Ghee gives strength and lubrication to our heart and balances peristalsis movement. Jaggery gives natural sugar, iron and some minerals. Sesame gives much more calcium, wheat keeps the density of our bony structure. We can get protein and oil from peanuts. Such types of natural sugar will be helpful for our neurons. We can get energy, power and current for our brain after regular usage of jaggery, chikki, sukhdi, ladu ete. We should have it as a medicine, as a requirement of our brain; not for taste. Otherwise it will become harmful.
Some important points:
- When we use sugar(brown sugar, corn sugar, many types of ordinary honey, fructose etc.), it will damage to our bones and digestive systems.
- Cancer cells can grow after eating sugar regularly..! Cancer patients should avoid sugar.
- We get only empty calories from sugar. And when we have dates, banana, jaggery or other fruits we can get fruitful calories. Because we get vitamins and minerals from such food.
- If Gujarati ladies use jaggery instead of sugar during cooking curry and vegetables, the overall medical bill of a family will reduce automatically. To use sugar during cooking curry and vegetable is a genetic problem of many Gujarati ladies..!
May God gives you strength, sense and courage to walk on the true path of health. I hope you will accept the true results of nature cure and walk on the path with open mind. Have a nice time
